Lawyers for US inmate who survived lethal injections demand release

A lawyer for US death row inmate Christa Pike says she is in "critical condition, receiving life-saving care" after two failed attempts to give her a lethal injection. Pike’s lawyers are now asking for her sentence to be commuted.
