Syed Tashfin Chowdhury is a Dhaka, Bangladesh based freelance journalist and the editor of  Xtra, the weekend magazine of New Age, a leading English daily in Bangladesh. As a regular contributor to Al Jazeera English and VICE publications, Tashin writes features and business articles, as well as news pieces on border conflicts, Indo-Bangla relations, and workers rights among others. Tashfin also serves as a national communication consultant for the United Nations Development Programme.
