Adnan Mahmutović came to Sweden from Bosnia as a war refugee in the 1990s. He is a professor at Stockholm University in literature and creative writing. He published five monographs and edited volumes in postcolonial studies, world literature, and comics studies. His books of fiction are: Thinner Than a Hair, At the Feet of Mothers, and How to Fare Well and Stay Fair.
